Hello Sweet Friends I hope you are all doing well.   Today I am sharing my DT project with this adorable image from Artist Sandra Caldwell.  She's called:   Hippo Oct-O-Pus She is one of many new fantastic digital images from Artist Sandra Caldwell.  I absolutely loved coloring her and hopefully the background looks a little like life under the sea.  LOL!!! I colored her with Copics and used the following colors: B02, 04, 06 C0, 01, 03, 05 YG21, 23, 25 I used a colored pencil to give her some rosey pink cheeks. I also used some Nuvo Crystal Drops (I love thes Drops).  I used the drops on the ends of her tenticles.  I wanted a little bit of glow on them.  The sentiment is a rub-on from my stash.   I hope she gives you smile. Hello Again My Sweet Friends I am back for my second post today and I am sharing my second Design Team project.  Oh my gosh - I just love this guy.  He makes me smile!!!   This handsome guy is named:  Football Play #1337. I decided to create an art journal page using him and so glad I did. Oh it's finally Friday My Sweet Friends  I hope you are doing well and having lots of crafting time.  I am so excited about today - I have been patiently waiting for this day for quite some time.  We are finally able to share some of Artist Sandra Caldwell's new images for 2017 (and it's only just begun). Hello My Sweet Friends I think I am finally back in the crafting and posting saddle again.  I am getting  a little more settled from the move from Washington State to Oregon.  I am still trying to figure out how to get my craft area set up.  We are temporarily staying with my sister until hubby finds a new job.  I even ended up spending a couple days in the hospital but turns out it was nothing serious and that's good news.   I also thought it would be fun to share the card I made using this amazing image from Artist Lisa Bloobel.  It's an image we are using for her first progressive challenge which ends tomorrow.  I had so much fun with this image and we had to fill in the sign with our "protest" message. Happy Happy Sunday My Sweet Friends Boy am I behind on everything and it's not my favorite kind of feeling.  I am however back on blogland and so delighted to be here.  Hubby and I ended up having to make a sudden and quick move from Washington State to Medford, Oregon.  And I can honestly say I am feeling so much better in so many ways.   Still have way to many boxes to go through (that are all in storage) and tring to put my craft area back together again.  I have finally realized it's going to take time (probably a lot of time) but I know eventually it will fall back into place.  My sister and my brother in law graciously opened their home for us to stay until we could find our own place and not have to be under the stress of trying to do everything in a short perios of time.  We feel very very blessed!!! I decided to make a small altered composition book.  The photos below show one with a frame around it and the other is just the composition book.    This was actually a pretty quick and easy project and I know a little girl that's just going to love this notebook . Happy Happy Wednesday (Thursday) My Sweet Friends Today I am sharing a Design Team project I created using this adorable image from Artist Sherri Baldy.  I made a gift bag out of cardstock and then used the finished image on the front of the bag.  I had no idea what I was doing to make a bag but it was actually quite easy.   I am afraid the bow looks scrunched and it's because I had to scan it due to it pouring rain outside.  The bag measures 6" x 9".   Here'e the link to this image in Sherri's Shop: Image 384 and here's the link to Sherri's Shop: Bestie Shop This little cutie was a joy to color.  I just love her outfit.  I used two dies to create the background behind this image.  I did fussy cut her out so she would fit on the base of the smaller scalloped circle. Happy Happy Wednesday Sweet Friends Today I am sharing my Design Team Project with The Classic Design Team Open Challenge using this absolutely fabulous image by Artist Julia Spiri.  I love mermaids and this one is fantastic.   Here are the links to this beautiful image as well as Julia's Etsy Shop. Happy Monday Sweet Friends I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving and special times with family and friends for those of you in the U.S. anyway.  And of course I hope all my friends had a great weekend. Today I am sharing a card I created using this FAB new image from Artist Sandra Caldwell.   This image can be found in Sandra's Etsy Shop and is called:   Snowed In Trailer This trailer reminds me of so many happy childhood memories of camping and enjoy the gorgeous outdoors.  Of course, we never did camp in the winter.   To create this card I decided to do some paper-pieceing on the trailer.  I colored the top of the trailer with Copics.  I used the following Copic Colors: C3, 5, 7 YG95, 97, 99 I used the Snow Marker to create the snow.
