Back in the Posting Saddle Again and It's a Bloobel Kind of Day

Hello My Sweet Friends

I think I am finally back in the crafting and posting saddle again.  I am getting  a little more settled from the move from Washington State to Oregon.  I am still trying to figure out how to get my craft area set up.  We are temporarily staying with my sister until hubby finds a new job.  I even ended up spending a couple days in the hospital but turns out it was nothing serious and that's good news.

I also thought it would be fun to share the card I made using this amazing image from Artist Lisa Bloobel.  It's an image we are using for her first progressive challenge which ends tomorrow.  I had so much fun with this image and we had to fill in the sign with our "protest" message.

(Second Version)

As you can see this one looks a lot different than the one above.  I had just finished coloring her and added all the signs and put her off to the side on my table.  A few moments later hubby sat down but spilled his coffee which actually had more cream than coffee (hence the color - LOL).  It wasn't funny at that particular moment but I am thrilled it turned out the way it did.  I am much happier with my second version.  What do you think???

If you would love to join in Lisa's monthly progressive challenge here is the link for more information:

Thanks so much for stopping by and your comments mean the world to me.

  3. Hum, is hubby still alive? :) I think I would have struggled not to explode a little! It's much better to spill coffee on something BEFORE it's coloured in, I hope you told him that for next time? I love the second version, and her pink protest!

    1. Hi Annabel - yes, hubby is still alive. LOL!!! He felt so bad. He had the saddest look on his face and kept saying "Sorry" in such a sad tone of voice. I was just stunned when it happened though. LOL!!! Thanks for stopping by Annabel.
