Our sponsor for this weeks challenge is Dilly Beans.   Dilly Beans I created this card using a Dilly Beans Image and used my copics to color her.  I hope you will join in this challenge and check out the design blogs and take a look at all their creations for this challenge.   Creative Fingers Challenge Blog Dilly Beans Stamps Thanks so much for stopping by - it's been a busy busy week and its time to get a few hours of sleep before digging into a few more projects. Have a great weekend. With hugs and smiles  Laine

Clean and Simple Masculine Card

Happy Happy Friday my Dear Sweet Friends - I am back with my "Sister Act" Design Team Hat on for this weeks challenge which is "Anything Goes".  Our sponsor this week is "Fitztown" and I created my card using one of their vintage car images.  You've heard me say this more than once already but I love Fitztown. Since I was going to create a masculine card I decided to keep it clean and simple.  I did some paper piecing for the vintage car and even added a little bling.  I hope you will join in our challenge and check out the other beautiful cards by the Design Team. Sister Act Card Challenge Thanks again for stopping by and I can't wait to see what you create. With hugs and smiles Laine

Altered Shabby Chic Heart

Happy Happy Thursday my Dear Sweet Friends - Oh my goodness - it's hard to believe it's Thursday and the weekend is just a stones throw away.  What about you - do you have any special plans for this weekend??  I am so incredibly excited - today's project is my first as a design team member with the Speed Craft Challenge.  I must confess I was chomping at the bit to begin this project and what a thrill ride it was.   I began my exhilarating ephemera scavenger hunt which truth be told was a quick trip to my craft room closet.  However, tucked away in the far left back corner was a box.  A special box.  A pretty box.  A pink box covered in beautiful flowers and a white satin bow.  Inside this box were things I have been collecting and it all began with the heart shaped chipboard I covered in vintage dictionary pages about six months ago.  Truth is, I wanted to create something similar to my finished project below but found the thought of it intimidating.  Why?

Exciting Exciting Exciting News

Hello again my Dear Sweet Friends I am so excited - I just couldn't wait to share the news.  I know, I know - two posts in one day.  Yikes!! I have included the link, however I am leaving it a mystery for now but the answer is only a click away.   The Speed Craft Challenge Blog Don't you just love a mystery?? With hugs and smiles Laine

Guest Design Team Spot at Fitztown

Happy Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends - It's cold, wet and gloomy here - I guess that means its beginning to look a lot like winter.  I don't mind the cooler weather except it makes my fibromyalgia pain worse. The wonderful part is Mark and I got a gift card from a very special friend for our wedding a month ago and we bought a gorgeous charcoal gray soft and fluffy blanket today with the gift card.  It's so FLUFFY!!!!!  I also love it because it keeps me warm without heaviness.  Thanks Diane!!! Today I am sharing a card I made for the Fitztown Challenge as a Guest Team Designer.  Yay - so excited and I love their images.  The image I chose is called Fae35 and I think she is an awesome image to play around with.  I especially like to practice my Copic coloring and look forward to the day when I get better at it.  My secret desire is to take the online coloring classes through Kit and Clowder.  Anyway - she's really fun to color and I am looking forward to us
