It's Fashion Day - It's All About The Winter Outfit

Oh it's finally Friday My Sweet Friends

I hope you are doing well and having lots of crafting time.  I am so excited about today - I have been patiently waiting for this day for quite some time.  We are finally able to share some of Artist Sandra Caldwell's new images for 2017 (and it's only just begun).

I am sharing my first DT card using one of Sandra's new images.  This sweetie is called:  Winter Out #1332.  And she will be listed in Sandra's Etsy Shop later today.  And I will be sharing one more DT project a little later today as well.

For some reason I just wanted to smother her in purple with her darling outfit.  I hope she brings you a smile.

We are also having our first contest and it's called: "Glamour Girls."  Holley is in charge of this contest and she chose six amazing images from Sandra's Etsy Shop.  And Sandra graciouslly listed those six images at $1.50 so it's a perfect time to join in.  I have listed all the links below:

Thanks so much for stopping by and your comments mean the world to me.

  1. Thanks for giving us the head's up on the new contest! Your project makes me want to snuggle up and block out the cold. Hope that was the feeling you were aiming for. :)

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
