BOO!! Did I scare you?

Happy Happy Friday My Dear Sweet Friends Today I am sharing a card I made with an image from " All Dressed Up " and just fell in love with these two characters. I colored these sweet monsters with my copics. I am also excited to announce I am a new DT member with Sister Act and delighted to be a part of this wonderful group of ladies.  This challenge is "Anything Goes" however it is a card only challenge. Our Sponsor "All Dressed Up" will be giving the lucky winner two digital images.  So I hope you will join in the challenge and who knows, you could be the lucky winner. It's also funny how these adorable monsters remind me so much of how my Moxie (a Pomeranian) and Otto (my daughters pug) play around together.  Its hilarious!! Thanks for stopping by - I always appreciate it and it means a lot to me. With hugs and smiles Laine Sister Act Card Challenge

My First Speed Craft Challenge Project

Happy happy Monday my Dear Sweet Friends - Yep this is my second post for today. I am over the charts excited about this project.  I stumbled across a new challenge blog called  Speed Craft Challenge   and its delightfully fun. It's absolutely a great idea - especially for someone like me (more about that later). Here's the scoop: I had only 10 minutes to create my project. I could create anything I wanted to and I was able to have my supplies ready before I hit the timer. So I grabbed some scrap stuff, sat down at the table outside on the deck because part of the challenge was to use Ink Sprays or Spritzers (this was my first time with Ink Sprays) and it was finally time to jump into the Challenge Zone and pushed the timer button. I grabbed a small clipboard, tore off some cardstock and used Mod Podge to seal the paper to the clipboard.  Used my blow dryer to speed up the drying time (hint:  works faster on the "cool" rather than "hot"). "So Very Proud of You"

Hello my dear sweet friends Today is absolutely gorgeous with the sun shining brightly and perfect temperature of 72 degrees.   However - the sad part is the weather report shows non stop rain for the next five days.  I guess it's beginning to look a lot like "Fall in Seattle".  Has the weather begun to change for you yet?? This is a project I made as a new design team member for " Not Just Cards Challenges . Yep, I am really excited to be a part of this group of women and I hope you will stop by and take a look at all the DT's projects as well as join in, if you haven't already. Interestingly my first project was all about "Graduation" and I decided to make an altered wood block as a keepsake gift.  All the sayings, cap and diploma are from  DeeDee Designs . I painted the wood block brown and covered it in various cardstocks from "Bo Bunny".  Once it was dry I added the sayings, lots of bling and some "Jumbo Java" ink to
