It's a Bestie Kind of Winter

Happy Happy Wednesday (Thursday) My Sweet Friends
Today I am sharing a Design Team project I created using this adorable image from Artist Sherri Baldy.  I made a gift bag out of cardstock and then used the finished image on the front of the bag.  I had no idea what I was doing to make a bag but it was actually quite easy.

I am afraid the bow looks scrunched and it's because I had to scan it due to it pouring rain outside.  The bag measures 6" x 9".

This little cutie was a joy to color.  I just love her outfit.  I used two dies to create the background behind this image.  I did fussy cut her out so she would fit on the base of the smaller scalloped circle.
I used the following Copic Colors:
E000, 00, 11, 13 B00, 02 C0, 01 G40, 41, 43, 46 R20, 89
Thanks so much for stopping by and your comments always make me smile. Have a great week - and the weekend is almos…

The Beautiful Mermaid

Happy Happy Wednesday Sweet Friends
Today I am sharing my Design Team Project with The Classic Design Team Open Challenge using this absolutely fabulous image by Artist Julia Spiri.  I love mermaids and this one is fantastic.

I used Copics to color her as well as to create the background.  And then I used  die to create the card (they are all one piece) as welll as the black background.  I was really inspired to use the colors I did because it seems like such a surreal moment in time.

I used the following Copic colors:

B00, 02, 04
E00, 000
V01, 05,06, 09, 17, 28
RV02, 04, 17
Y01, 04, 08, 13
YG21, 23, 25
YR04, 07, 09

I used Little B Scallops Dies - Large One

I also used a Uniball Signo White Gel Pen to create the dots on the image.  It was actually quite fun to do.

I hope you feel some inspiration from todays card.  And remember anyone who is on a Design Team is able to enter into this cha…

Snowed In Trailer

Happy Monday Sweet Friends
I hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving and special times with family and friends for those of you in the U.S. anyway.  And of course I hope all my friends had a great weekend.
Today I am sharing a card I created using this FAB new image from Artist Sandra Caldwell.

This image can be found in Sandra's Etsy Shop and is called:
Snowed In Trailer
This trailer reminds me of so many happy childhood memories of camping and enjoy the gorgeous outdoors.  Of course, we never did camp in the winter.
To create this card I decided to do some paper-pieceing on the trailer.  I colored the top of the trailer with Copics.  I used the following Copic Colors:
C3, 5, 7 YG95, 97, 99
I used the Snow Marker to create the snow. I used a rub-on flower for in the window. And finally I used a White Gel Pen to create the snow flakes.
I hope you wil check out Sandra's Etsy Shop - there are so many amazing digital images to color and enjoy.  We would also love it if you joined our …
