CH 35 - Anything Goes - Tuesday Alchemy

Power of Pink & Breast Cancer Awareness

Hello again dear friends - two posts in one day!!  I have been a busy girl and just wanted to share my next project with you.  This is a wall hook I made for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  These are pretty quick and easy to make but still fun.  I made this one to participate in the Link Up for Pink Challenge.  Hope you will join in this challenge too!! PINK POWER - Altered Bird

Happy Happy Monday my dearest friends - I hope your day (and coming week) is full of sunshine and lots of smiles!! For this week (probably the rest of the month) I am going to post projects that are all about PINK.  It is my favorite color and Breast Cancer Awareness month too. For today's project I once again stepped out of my comfort zone.  I have had these bird shaped chipboard pieces for quite some time and have wanted to create something different with them.  The bird is approximately 5" x 7". I covered the bird in pattern cardstock.  Inked around the edges for the distressed shabby kind of look.  Added some vintage buttons, a chipboard heart, paper flower and stamped the message on a chipboard flower.  Of course no project is complete without the bling.  I am thinking I might add some bling around the chipboard flower but haven't decided for sure yet.  The best part is I used supplies I have  By the way I found these chipboard bird shapes a
