Well dear friends I am getting this posted a little later than I originally planned.  It has been a busy busy week going to doctor and therapy appointments.  My sister had knee replacement surgery and I have been her primary caretaker the past 10 days.  She is doing great (thankfully) and I have a lot I need to get caught up on.  Thanks so much for your patience and understanding. Challenge 19 - Plum, Lime and Orange - Color Challenge

Well dear friends  I sure hope the weather has been cooler where you are.  On Father's Day it reached over 112 degrees here and it was miserable.  It is suppose to be cooling down this week and only reach temperatures in the high 80's.   This week's challenge is called Plum, Lime and Citrus (Color Inspiration).  I hope you will check out all the other Tuesday Alchemy design team blogs and their wonderful creations for this week.   I decided to alter a small composition book this time.   I covered the front and back of composition book with a textured plum cardstock.   Stamped the flower shapes onto orange pattern cardstock and cut out each size and added pop up dots for some extra dimension between each layer.  I figured this was a perfect time to use some of my lime looped ribbon and added it across the bottom of the grass I cut out of lime cardstock.  Used the same lime looped ribbon to make the stem and leaves for the flower. ...
