Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends Today I am sharing my DT project from artist Sandra Caldwell called # 888 Silly Condos.  I absolutely love this image and wanted to do something different with this DT project. The first time I worked with the image I just colored it with Copics.  I wasn't happy with it and it didn't have the look I was wanting.  And then it occurred to me - "What about paper piecing?" along with coloring.  And that's what I did and I love the look.  It makes me smile every time I look at it and I hope it does the same for you. As you can see I did a lot of printing on different card stocks and had a blast taking all the different pieces of the condo puzzle and putting it all together.  I wanted what I created to live up to this images name "silly condo's: and I am happy with it.  I also used a few of my Copics to add some shading. Happy Happy Sunday My Dear Sweet Friends Today I am sharing my DT project with Morgan's Art World  I just love this her and it's the image of the month at Morgan's Art World on Facebook.  She is free for members for the next three days.  This is a closed Facebook group but you can still join after you sign up and are added to the group. Morgan's Art World I just love this gorgeous bride image and she was fun but a little intimidating to color.  In all honesty, I have to learn how to color veils and other sheer items and hopefully it's a class Alyce - Kit and Clowder.   I hope you will join in the June Challenge and looking forward to seeing what you create with this g orgeous image from Morgan.
