It's a Bestie Kind of Winter

Happy Happy Wednesday (Thursday) My Sweet Friends

Today I am sharing a Design Team project I created using this adorable image from Artist Sherri Baldy.  I made a gift bag out of cardstock and then used the finished image on the front of the bag.  I had no idea what I was doing to make a bag but it was actually quite easy.

I am afraid the bow looks scrunched and it's because I had to scan it due to it pouring rain outside.  The bag measures 6" x 9".

Here'e the link to this image in Sherri's Shop:

This little cutie was a joy to color.  I just love her outfit.  I used two dies to create the background behind this image.  I did fussy cut her out so she would fit on the base of the smaller scalloped circle.

I used the following Copic Colors:

E000, 00, 11, 13
B00, 02
C0, 01
G40, 41, 43, 46
R20, 89

Thanks so much for stopping by and your comments always make me smile.
Have a great week - and the weekend is almost here.

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
