Good Evening/Morning Sweet Friends

I love love love roses!!
And using this gorgeous rose for this Fitztown Challenge couldn't have made me any happier. I don't know why - but I wanted to color this rose BLUE!!!
For this challenge it's ANYTHING GOES with a twist of flower/s and pattern paper. There are some amazing changes at Fitztown so it would be a great idea to read the updates on the Fitztown Blog - it's all on the sidebar and top of the page under Challenge Rules. Once you are familiar with everything its time to join in the challenge with us.

For this card I colored the rose with Copics and wanted the image to be a little larger when I printed it so that it would be the main focus of the card. I cut the rose out and added it to the pattern cardstock. It took a while to find some pattern cardstock I thought would look good with the rose (and added some mounting tape to the back of the rose). I think this pattern cardstock worked perfectly. And then I just added a row of bling on the right side and a little to some of the petals of the rose. What do you think?
Thanks so much for stopping by and I am looking forward to seeing your creations!!

This is so beautiful, Laine! I love roses, too, and this one in blue is stunning. Wouldn't it be great if we could have roses that color growing in our garden? :-D It's so nice to be back after the holidays and in my visiting routine again. Hugz, NC
