Give Thanks Always - Gratitude

Hello again my dear sweet friends

I have slowed down considerably in making cards this past year and have realized I miss making them.  I had some cardstock I have been wanting to use and so began the process of seeing what I could come up with.  I have been thinking a lot about gratitude lately and decided to have that as my theme.
My only goals were to keep it clean and simple, use fall colors, add some bling and use a sentiment rather than an image.  It was so much fun making this card and my passion for cardmaking has been reignited and I can't wait to make many many more.

I am submitting this card into the following challenges:

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
