Red Riding Hood

Happy Happy Thursday My Dear Sweet Friends

Today I am sharing my first card as a new DT member with The Classic Design Team Open Challenge Blog.  Our sponsor this month is Nikki Burnette and I fell in love with this called "Red Riding Hood."  Isn't she fabulous??

Here are the links to:

I used Copics to color her.  The colors I used are:

BG02, BG04

E000, E00, E11, E23, E25, E27, E29

R24, R27, R29, R39

I just had to create a forest theme background and then added the corner rounders and the medallion in the middle.

This month's challenge ends on the 27th and you can enter up to three times and as long as you are a member of a Design Team.

Thanks so much for stopping by - I always appreciate it.  I also hope you will check out Nikki's Etsy Shop.  She has such a gorgeous array of images.  Lots and lots of eye candy.

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
