Saturday Inspiration Post - Morgan's Art World

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends

Boy oh boy does time pass way to quickly.  It seems just like the other day I posted my Storytalk Eagle DT project and yet its actually time for another Saturday Inspiration Post.  I decided to use this gorgeous image from Morgan's Art World called Cameo 14.  I have been wanting to color her for quite some time now.  I had already decided I was going to alter an Altoid Tin and I realized she was the perfect fit.

I colored her with my Copics and Fussy Cut her and added her to the top of the Altoid Tin.  I had already added a base cardstock to the top of the tin.  I also added a couple coats of Mod Podge on top to help protect the image as well as the durability of the altoid tin.  I added some silver bling ribbon around the edges of the lid and bottom as well.

The Copic colors I used are:

BV13, BV17, BV20, BV25, BV29, BV31
E000, E00, E09, E11, E21, E23, E25
R20, R81,  R83, R85
Y35
YG23
YR14, YR16, YR21

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you will join in this months challenge with Morgan's Art World  The theme for the rest of the month is "For the Kids".

I also entered this project into the following challenge:

  1. I really like this She's the girl on the box. Her color are wonderful. The butterfly on her arm and above her ear as the tints in her hair draw the viewer's interest. Just beautiful.

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
