Pretty In PINK

Hello again My Dear Sweet Friends

It's just little ole' me.
(No Design Team Hat at the moment).

I just want to share a altered project I made using an image by Ching Chow Kauk called "Key to My Heart".  Of course I had to use pink and as you can see I went a little "Pink Crazy".  I want to keep her in a frame so I found an old one from a yard sale and painted it.  I added some of my favorite lace to adorn the top and bottom.  I used some pink acrylic roses I had found at a yard sale.

I do have a list of the Copic colors I used and once I find the list I will add that information to this post.

Thanks for stopping by and saying hello.  I really appreciate it.

Have a wonderful day!
Hugs and smiles

Cinderella goes Camo

Hello my dear sweet friends -

I hope this finds you doing well.  It's been a while since I have been able to post and yet I have been able to get quite a few loose ends tied up.  I ended up making a quick trip to California to get the rest of personal stuff out of storage.  I am no longer scattered across three states and I can't even begin to express how wonderful that feels.  It will take me some time to get all my craft stuff set up and organized again but it looks like I will be able to really get on the ground running again.  It was a group effort and my sisters and brother in law were amazing and so incredibly helpful.

A few days before the trip I received a phone call (out of the blue) from a dear friend I worked with at the Police Department in California 20 years ago.  It was great hearing from him and we have been having fun getting caught up on things. My my, so many new and exciting changes.  I am still working on getting my health back on track and doctors say I a…

Freshly Baked Cookies

Happy Friday Sweet Friends Today it's a Bestie kind of day!!   I am sharing my DT project which is a cookie recipe using this adorable image by Sherri Baldy. She can be found here in Sherri's Etsy Shop. Bestie Image 051 and I just think she's adorable. I colored her with Copics and used the following colors: B00, 02, 04 (Eyes) C01, 03 (Cookie Tray) E000, 00, 11 (Skin) E21, 23, 25 (Hair) E93, 95, 97, 99 (Shoes) R32, 35, 37 (Hat, Dress, Socks) Y15, 17, 19 (Dress and the heart on her hat) As you can see I added flowers to the recipe itself.  I used a letter template to cut our the letters for the word COOKIES.  I also added some white flowers to the box that she is standing on. I hope you will join in our challenge this month and the link can be found below:
Color It Create It Show It Off Bestie September Challenge I appreciate your stopping by and your comments mean a lot to me. By the way - these cookies are BEYOND delicious!  I hope you will try them out.  They are easy peasy. Have a fabulo…

It's Going To Be A Fabulous New Year

Hello My Lovelies
It seems I am always thrilled for the beginning of a new year. Time to put some things to rest and begin focusing on new dreams and goals.  I love pulling out my new 2018 planner and put it together and then filling up the pages, writing down my new dreams and goals as they pop into my brain.  Helps me stay more focused rather than feeling confused and lost. Plus there are some amazing new planners out there that make it fun and really pretty too.  My temporary move is behind me and hubby and I are feeling more settled.  My bronchitis and pneumonia are finally behind me and I couldn't be happier.
I have decided to post my DT projects not only on my Hugs 4 The Heart Facebook group but coming back to begin posting here again as well. I hope you will come and visit me. I am also on Pinterest, Instagram and on Etsy.  I will be back tomorrow with all the links. My most exciting goal is get set up and doing lots of crafting videos too

Thanks for all your encouragement an…
