"Go Green"

Hello again My Dear Sweet Friends

I just happen to have my DT hat on with Eclectic Ellapu.  We have a new challenge this month and our theme is "Go Green".  And here is my project for this challenge:

Eclectic Ellapu Challenge Blog

I took and old frame and painted it green.
I had come across this saying months ago and just loved it.  I decided to save it for something special.  Well it fit perfectly once I added some background cardstock which made me really happy.  I used some extra special lace I found at a yard sale a long time ago and added it to the top and bottom of the frame.  I used an old green leaf from some plastic flowers and added the butterfly on top.  Ironically the leaves I rescued were gorgeous and I just couldn't bear the thought of tossing them out with the ugly flowers.  And I am so glad I kept them (and I have lots left for future projects).

It's been a challenging several years for me and this saying has been very inspirational for me.  It's exciting to finally have it turned into a completed project that I can look at all the time. And of course - the butterflies are the frosting on the cake.

I really hope you will join in our challenge this month.  All the information is on the blog website.

Thanks for stopping by - I really appreciate it.

With hugs and smiles
