Festive and Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Monday My Sweet Sweet Friends

How was your weekend??  Did you get the shopping done you had hoped?  Did you get to make the Christmas cards you wanted to get done?

Well I have my Not Just Cards Design Team hat on.  And I am sharing the card I made using one of Aurora Wings sweet images.

What is it about these images that make them so adorable?  Their cute faces surrounded by all the beautiful leaves?  I just love using my copics (I guess I do say that a lot - sorry) on these sweet images.  Oh my goodness I need a copic intervention!!

I just love bringing them to life and using not always traditional colors.  I  guess it brings new meaning to loving my fruits and vegetables.  I do, I do and I do!! If I could afford to buy all of them I would - and now I find myself wondering how long it would take to color them if I had all of them all?  I don't even want to go there - it expands my brain to much.  LOL

Oh my goodness - my honey is laughing at me because he says my face is aglow, my eyes are sparkly, my smile fills the room and I am drooling all over my laptop and its all because I am looking at all the different creations by Mitzi-Sato-Wiuff.  Looks like I went off on another tangent.  My bad!!

I used Holiday Sprite  and used Pinks and Greens again.  Oh no, I think I am using this color combination to much lately.  Does that mean I really am addicted to PINK?????  Do I need to go to a Pink 12-step group?  I think I will make that a rhetorical question because I may not want to hear your replies.

So dear friends I hope you will join in the Not Just Cards challenge and check out the great designs by the Design Team.

Thanks for stopping by and leaving me some love.  Today is my day to get caught up on leaving my love all over your blogs.  Getting sick really put me behind.  Have a wonderful day!!!

Hugs and smiles

PS - If you see any typos in this post please let me know - my beloved Moxie walked across my laptop and was adding her own two sense.  I hoped I found them all but don't know for sure and my eyes hurt from being crossed for so long searching and searching for the added doggie words.

It's All About SPARKLE AND SHINE

Happy Happy Thursday My Dear Sweet Friends Can you believe it  - the weekend is just around the corner - what are your plans?  I will be getting some much needed rest and hopefully be able to do a little crafting as well. Today's post is all about the 15 minute Speed Craft Challenge and putting together my project was a lot of fun.  I also got some hints and tips from my wonderful honey.  Thanks Mark!!!   This challenge is all about "Sparkle and Shine". I wanted to make a key chain and decided to use a wine cork as the base.  I gathered all my supplies; got the timer set up; took the photograph of my supplies and it was finally time to push the "start" button.   This was a pretty quick project.  I only had one major obstacle that kept getting in my way but I won't be sharing what it was until the end of the post.  Here are the steps it took to make the key chain: 1.  Glued a small washer to the top and botto...
