"A Star is Born"

Happy Happy Friday My Dear Friends

I am actually writing this on Thursday evening at 8:30 PM (Pacific Time).  I sure hope your evening is going better than mine has.  We had a major wind storm and it knocked out the power for more than half the city.  Luckily the power is back on for us now but not so for neighborhoods close by.

I ended up taking quite a fall and tumble over the doggie fence and am having a hard time typing this post and walking.  There's not a place of me that does not hurt. So this post is going to be short and sweet so I can crawl under the covers and hopefully wake up feeling better tomorrow.

It's time for the Sister Act Challenge and I am using an image by "All Dressed Up".  He's so CUTE!!  And of course the little sheep is too.  I used my Copics and created this card.  The DT has some great cards this week and I hope you will check out their blogs and join in the challenge.

Sweet Dreams, Good Morning or Good Evening - depending on when you are ready this post.  (LOL)

It's All About SPARKLE AND SHINE

Happy Happy Thursday My Dear Sweet Friends Can you believe it  - the weekend is just around the corner - what are your plans?  I will be getting some much needed rest and hopefully be able to do a little crafting as well. Today's post is all about the 15 minute Speed Craft Challenge and putting together my project was a lot of fun.  I also got some hints and tips from my wonderful honey.  Thanks Mark!!!   This challenge is all about "Sparkle and Shine". I wanted to make a key chain and decided to use a wine cork as the base.  I gathered all my supplies; got the timer set up; took the photograph of my supplies and it was finally time to push the "start" button.   This was a pretty quick project.  I only had one major obstacle that kept getting in my way but I won't be sharing what it was until the end of the post.  Here are the steps it took to make the key chain: 1.  Glued a small washer to the top and botto...
