"Pink and Silver" Christmas - FItzTown

Hello my Dear Sweet Friends

Happy Happy Monday!!  I hope your weekend was wonderful.  I did manage to get several projects created this past weekend.  I will be sharing them later in the week and some at the beginning of December with a couple of surprises thrown in.  It's all a mystery for now except for the

Today I am sharing the card I made as a new CT member for the Fitztown.  Yep, I am excited to be a part of this wonderful group of ladies.

Challenge #63 is all about "Pink and Silver Christmas".

I used an image called:  "Winter Bird #   and just fell in love with her sweet face.  Of course, pink being my favorite color I couldn't wait to start coloring her.  I also added some stickles around the brim of her hat, the cuff of her mittens and the pom pom on top of her hat.  I had some 1/4" shimmery velvet ribbon that I was finally able to use and just created a velvety border around the image.

There are some gorgeous cards from the CT and it makes me smile even more because there is a lot of pink pink pink over there.  So come on over and join us in this challenge.  I can't wait to see what you create.

I used the following Copic Colors:

C0, C1, C3, YG03, YG06, YG13, R81, R83, R85, YR23, YR24

Have a great Monday!!

Hugs and smiles

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
