Altered Wine Cork Christmas Tree Ornaments

Happy Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends

How was your weekend?  I haven't been feeling well and am still in bed resting.  Luckily I can work from bed from time to time and its a good thing because I have so much to share today.  Actually as you will soon discover I will be making some wonderful announcements as well as having numerous posts going live today.

Once again I am sharing an altered project I made as my first Design Team Project for the Altered Eclectic Challenge Blog.  Yep, twin challenges by Elaine and twice the fun.  For this project I wanted to make some Christmas ornaments.  So I gathered a handful of recycled corks and started adding some different types of lace, rhinestones, beads, charms and whatever else I could find.  And I think my favorite is the bling yarn I used so create the strings so I can hang them from the Christmas tree.  To me it was like the icing on the cake.

The biggest challenge was in photographing them especially with the darker and colder weather. I really like them

Looking forward to seeing you over at the Altered Eclectic Challenge Blog.  It's a month long challenge and there is plenty of time to get a little something something made.  I know, I know easy to say at this time of year.  There are a lot of new DT members (including yours truly) and lots of pretty stuff to see from the new DT as well as the seasoned DT members.

Thanks again for stopping by to say HELLO and I really appreciate it.  Have a fabulous Monday!!

With hugs and smiles
