Twist of Faith Challenge #13 - Blue Skies

Happy happy Tuesday my lovely friends -

It's a new challenge at Twist of Faith and our theme this week is "Blue Skies".  Our sponsor is Stamp Art Design by Kathryne at Whimsy Stamps.  Our random prize winner will receive their choice of 4 images from her collection.

Our design team has some great cards this week and we are just waiting for you to join us.  Here is the link to the challenge blog and we can't wait to see what you create to share with us.  All you need to do is create a card within our guidelines which is easy as 1.2.3.

It was a little challenging deciding which cute little bear to use from her new digital stamp set called New Little Bear Winter Fun.

I really love this background paper and just had to use it again with this card.  It makes a fun background and I can add glimmer and bling.  I colored the sweet little bear with Copics and created a snow border around the quote and on the hat.  And of course - the snow the little bear is standing on.  We are really looking forward to seeing what you create this week.

With hugs and smiles always

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
