Color Recipe Challenge 27 - Sea Foam Green, Brown and Pink

Hello dear ladies - are you ready for another challenge?  I sure am and since the weather hasn't cooled down yet, it gives me another reason to stay inside and make a few projects.  So I hope you will join us this week and I can't wait to see what you create.

Our color challenge is using three colors - Sea foam green, pink and brown.  You can use all three colors, two or just one.  The only other colors you can use are black, white or beige.

For this challenge I used a flower digital image from LEJ Designs.  I cut the flowers out, used pop dots between the two flowers to give some dimension.  Added a really pretty pearl button in the center.  I finally used one of my Sizzix die cuts to make the flourish.  I punched out two butterfly shapes and added a small pop up dot in the center of the two for extra dimension.  And of course - no card is complete without some extra bling.  Post settings

We have three sponsors this week, so you have more chances to win a wonderful prize by sharing your new creation/s with us.

You could win a $10 Store Voucher from Di's Digi Downloads.

LEJ Designs is giving 3 digital stamps of one lucky crafter's choice.

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
