Wedding - Challenge 14

Happy Tuesday!!  This week at Tuesday Alchemy our challenge theme is Wedding.  If you haven't joined in one of our challenges yet I hope you will take advantage of this one and submit your entry.  For those of you that have joined us in the past - I am really looking forward to seeing what you submit this week.  Best wishes to everyone....

This is a container I altered for the bride to be to use as a tool in planning and keeping track for her special day.  I used a really pretty "love" cardstock.  I also used lots of lace, paper flowers, beads, pearls, rhinestones, a large fabric flower for the top of the container and other ribbons.  The inside is also decorated and dividers added so the bride can add whatever categories or folders she needs for her wedding.  After the wedding she can use it to keep her other wedding keepsakes safe.

    2. Wow - what a week I have had with having to move stuff out of storage. Hence the delay in responding. I just start laughing every time I think of WOWZER!! I think that is the best compliment I have ever received. If people got a kick out of it too - so much the better.

  2. Oh, so beautiful, Laine! I LOVE the inside as much as the outside. All those roses are perfectly divine :) I'm SO happy you created something besides a card - It gives our DT more variety!

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
