Quick Cards

This past week has been incredibly busy.  I have to get my storage room emptied by the end of May and it is a tedious time consuming task.  Which of course means I haven't had much time to make anything new. It just so happens I found a wonderful new digital stamp company called The Paper Shelter.  You must check it out - so many amazing digital images and other wonderful products.  www.thepapershelter.com

I have been wanting to play with a couple of digital images called - A little bit grumpy and Spring swing.  Haven't had time to color the images so I decided to use the images that have already been colored and make a couple of quick cards.  It seems like I haven't been making as many cards lately and hope that changes soon.  Thanks for checking out my blog and please come back again.

Gratitude - Blog Candy Give Away - UPDATED AGAIN & AGAIN

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers.
