The Library Girl

Happy Monday Sweet Friends

It's great to be sharing my Inspiration Post with Sasayaki Glitter using this adorable image by Naz Smith called Library Girl.

She was a joy to work with and she's actually one of my new favorites.  I love books, always have and I have been known to have my own home library overflowing with lots and lots of books.  In my mind - there is no such thing as too many books.  LOL!!
I colored Library Girl with the following Copic Colors:
B12, 14,16
C3, 5
E000, 00, 11, 13, 15, 18
R37, 56, 59, 89
Y32, 35
White Gel Pen
Here's the link to Library Girl in the Sasayaki Glitter Etsy Shop:
I used various cardstocks to create the background and fussy cut Library Girl and added her on top of the cardstock.
Thanks so much for stopping by - I always appreciate it and your sweet comments.

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
