Pig Pile (A Big Pile of Cuteness)

Happy Happy Saturday Sweet Friends

It's been a pretty good week but so far this weekend is way to hot for me.  I was told by a wonderful friend of mine that fires are out of control and more possible in Canada.  It's just heartbreaking and I hope and pray these fires will be put out soon and everyone is safe.  I hope you are all safe too!!

I just have to share a DT card I made using this new image by Artist Sandra Caldwell named Pig Pile.  I love this image - I think these pigs are just way to cute.  On top of that the pig on the top left has an expression on his face that is just like my daughters pug.  HeeHee it just cracks me up.  I also used the saying "Let's Stay Home" because it looks to my like the last thing these pigs want to do is go somewhere.

I colored the pigs with copics.  Fussy cut the image out and added it to the wood theme background paper.  Tore off a strip of plaid cardstock to create the floor.  Added the swirly cardstock strip to the top and of course the quote.

I hope these pigs bring you a smile like they did me.

You can find this image in Sandra's Etsy Shop BabyCakes DND here:

  1. Are you allowed to compare your daughter's pug to a pig? :) lol! I think this is a super cute digi, I love how you have coloured all the pigs slightly differently too! The wood paper behind them looks great :)

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
