Hippo in a Hot Rod Convertible

Hello My Sweet Friends

It's Friday and the the weekend is just around the corner.  Do you have any special plans??  I will be making some new creations and sharing either here or on my Hugs4TheHeart FB page.  I would love it if you stopped by and said hello.

Today I am sharing my DT project using this adorable image from artist Sandra Caldwell named:

Hot Rod Hippo #1627  (Link to this image in Sandra's Etsy Shop)

Here's the link to her FB Group:

Sandra has so many amazing and adorable images in her Etsy Shop.  I really hope you will check them out - you will not be disappointed.  They really will make you smile.

She really makese smile.  Maybe it's because it reminds me of my mustang convertible I had a few years ago.  Plus I love hippoes.

I colored this cutie using Copics and colors used are:

C01, 03, 05 (Hippo)
R35, 37 37 (Hot Rod)
Y13, 15, 17 (Dress and Bow)
White Gel Pen
Small Flowers

I added the flowers the way to create the look of a frame.  I wanted it to look like she just bought this car and was ready for a long road trip but having her photo taken first.

I hope she brings you a smile!!

Thanks for stopping by and saying hello.  Your comments always mean a lot to me.

With smiles

  1. We bought a new car this weekend but I didn't look this glamorous driving it, I'm sure :) Love the flowery border too, a great way to frame her :)
