Silly Condo's

Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends

Today I am sharing my DT project from artist Sandra Caldwell called #888 Silly Condos.  I absolutely love this image and wanted to do something different with this DT project.

The first time I worked with the image I just colored it with Copics.  I wasn't happy with it and it didn't have the look I was wanting.  And then it occurred to me - "What about paper piecing?" along with coloring.  And that's what I did and I love the look.  It makes me smile every time I look at it and I hope it does the same for you.

As you can see I did a lot of printing on different card stocks and had a blast taking all the different pieces of the condo puzzle and putting it all together.  I wanted what I created to live up to this images name "silly condo's: and I am happy with it.  I also used a few of my Copics to add some shading.

CH31 - Love Peace Happiness - Tuesday Alchemy
