Mixed Media World

I decided to use a clipboard and turn it into a Mixed Media project.
I covered the clipboard with Tissue Paper from TIm Holz.
I added with Mod Podge and sealed down.
I ended up going in a new direction and decided to add lace all around the clipboard.
I also used Mod Podge to seal it down.
I used some Red Dylusion Cranberry Paint and used it to add color to the lace.
I colored the adorable image and the only thing I regret is not coloring all of her hair like her bangs.  I just wish it wasn't to late to do the coloring. I colored her with my Copics.
I embossed the Eiffel Tower to give it some sparkle.
Add the bling around the top including some ribbons.
I added the flowers.
Added a spray coat of sealant.
Added another coat of Mod Podge.

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you will join in our Mixed Media World Challenge this month.  The DT has some great projects to share as well.

With hugs and smiles

Cinderella goes Camo

Hello my dear sweet friends -

I hope this finds you doing well.  It's been a while since I have been able to post and yet I have been able to get quite a few loose ends tied up.  I ended up making a quick trip to California to get the rest of personal stuff out of storage.  I am no longer scattered across three states and I can't even begin to express how wonderful that feels.  It will take me some time to get all my craft stuff set up and organized again but it looks like I will be able to really get on the ground running again.  It was a group effort and my sisters and brother in law were amazing and so incredibly helpful.

A few days before the trip I received a phone call (out of the blue) from a dear friend I worked with at the Police Department in California 20 years ago.  It was great hearing from him and we have been having fun getting caught up on things. My my, so many new and exciting changes.  I am still working on getting my health back on track and doctors say I a…

It's Going To Be A Fabulous New Year

Hello My Lovelies
It seems I am always thrilled for the beginning of a new year. Time to put some things to rest and begin focusing on new dreams and goals.  I love pulling out my new 2018 planner and put it together and then filling up the pages, writing down my new dreams and goals as they pop into my brain.  Helps me stay more focused rather than feeling confused and lost. Plus there are some amazing new planners out there that make it fun and really pretty too.  My temporary move is behind me and hubby and I are feeling more settled.  My bronchitis and pneumonia are finally behind me and I couldn't be happier.
I have decided to post my DT projects not only on my Hugs 4 The Heart Facebook group but coming back to begin posting here again as well. I hope you will come and visit me. I am also on Pinterest, Instagram and on Etsy.  I will be back tomorrow with all the links. My most exciting goal is get set up and doing lots of crafting videos too

Thanks for all your encouragement an…

Cupcake and a Celebration

Hello Lovely Ladies
I hope your weekend has been fabulous thus far.  It's been sunny here with a cool breeze.  It's been a welcome relief from all the cold and rainy days.   Today I am sharing a card I made in celebration of a one year anniversary for Leigh S-B Designs.  She created this cute cupcake image in celebration as well as for a challenge of sorts.
I created my heart shaped card and used lots of Washi tape to create the background.  I all used white Cardstock borders to help break up the color.  I colored the cupcake and the number ONE with Copic's.
Here's the card I created:

Leigh congratulations on your first year anniversary.  I hope you have many more.  Your images are wonderful and fun to color.

Thanks for stopping by.  It always makes me smile
