"Storytalk Eagle" Saturday Inspiration Project , C5

Hello My Dear Friends

Today I am sharing my Saturday Inspiration Project for Morgan's Art World.

When I first saw this image called "Storytalk Eagle" from Morgan Fitzsimons I knew I had to create something with him.  After much debate I finally decided to alter a 6" x 8" Canvas Board.  And it was so much fun.

To create this project I:

1.  Added a coat of Gesso to top of the canvas board.
2.  Painted it with Acrylic Paint called Pearl from Martha Stewart.
3.  Added a layer of pattern cardstock.
4. Colored the eagle with Copics.
5. Added the black and red cardstock to frame the image and attached to the top of the Canvas Board.
6.  Added a another border of silver trim.
7.  Added the medal embellishment - "Believe in Yourself".

Copic Colors Used:

C1, C3, C5
E15, E17, E18, E19, E23, E25, E27, E99
R24, R27, R29, R37
YG21, YG23, YG27

Cupcake and a Celebration

Hello Lovely Ladies I hope your weekend has been fabulous thus far.  It's been sunny here with a cool breeze.  It's been a welcome relief from all the cold and rainy days.   Today I am sharing a card I made in celebration of a one year anniversary for Leigh S-B Designs.  She created this cute cupcake image in celebration as well as for a challenge of sorts.  I created my heart shaped card and used lots of Washi tape to create the background.  I all used white Cardstock borders to help break up the color.  I colored the cupcake and the number ONE with Copic's.  Here's the card I created: Leigh congratulations on your first year anniversary.  I hope you have many more.  Your images are wonderful and fun to color. Thanks for stopping by.  It always makes me smile With hugs and smiles Laine
