The HAUNTING

Hello My Dear Sweet Friends

Happy Happy Wednesday!!  I sure hope your week has been going fabulous!!

I am really excited about the second CS Designs Challenge.  I have all the information listed below on the techniques and products used and I had such a wonderful time making this project.

This is an altered clipboard I found it at a yard sale many moons ago and added it to my collection.  I covered the front of it with the Collage Art Paint Background digital image from CS Designs.  I inked all the edges with black StazOn Ink.  I used the RAVEN digital image from CS Designs on top of soft beige cardstock and mounted it on top of the rust cardstock.

I also inked with Black StazOn around the edges of both cardstocks.  I used more StazOn to help create a gloomy background as well as some old sewing batting I found in my daughters garage.  My goal was to have the batting give the appearance of Fog.

My hubby allowed me to rob his vast array of beads so I could use these shrunken heads, chains, and skeleton face charm.  (Thanks honey!!)  Aren't they just FAB??  And I found an old sheet in the garage that I tore a strip from and inked it all over the create a mummy wrapping around the clip itself.

This "Ghostly" young lady was so much fun to color with my copics. I used various shades of gray to color all of her except her face which was colored with a light light beige.  I wanted her to have a shimmery appearance and so I used my glitter pen to add some glittery shine on her hair, face, mouth and around the outside edges of her dress.

Putting this project together was so much FUN!!.

Here are the links to the other DT Blogs - I hope you will check out their projects for this second challenge from these talented ladies.

Blessings and Thankfulness

Hello dear sweet friends - As some of you already know I had a different post here earlier today.  I have moved that post to my Life Lessons from Hercules Blog which I have been wanting to start for quite some time now.  And so, if you feel so inclined - you can check out my new blog and let me know what you think. (For this card I wanted to use my scraps of paper and other embellishments that are over six months old.  And I achieved that by using the brown lace and butterflies.  In fact, they are almost a year old and I have just been saving them for something special.   With hugs and smiles Laine I am also submitting this card to the following challenges: Twist of Faith Challenge #10 - A Sketch Challenge Craft Door Magazine - Challenge #43 Anything Goes Paper Take Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes Lady Anne's Challenges - Anything Goes Stampin Sisters in Christ - Challenge 164 Challenges for Everybody - #6 Stampin for the Weekend
