Hello my dear sweet friends
Today is absolutely gorgeous with the sun shining brightly and perfect temperature of 72 degrees. However - the sad part is the weather report shows non stop rain for the next five days. I guess it's beginning to look a lot like "Fall in Seattle". Has the weather begun to change for you yet??
This is a project I made as a new design team member for "Not Just Cards Challenges. Yep, I am really excited to be a part of this group of women and I hope you will stop by and take a look at all the DT's projects as well as join in, if you haven't already.
Interestingly my first project was all about "Graduation" and I decided to make an altered wood block as a keepsake gift. All the sayings, cap and diploma are from DeeDee Designs.
I painted the wood block brown and covered it in various cardstocks from "Bo Bunny". Once it was dry I added the sayings, lots of bling and some "Jumbo Java" ink to add some more distressing to the edges. Oh, and I added some stickles around the middle of the graduation cap and on the tassle. I am really happy with this project and I am so thankful you decided to stop by and say hello.
With hugs and smiles
Laine
