More Butterflies in October - Sister Act DT Challenge Card

Hello my dear sweet friends

Hope you are all doing great!!  Has anyone else felt like October has been the longest month ever?  My goodness, for me it seems October wasn't just 31 days but double that.  Don't know why but I am glad November is just around the corner.

So my post for today is my second card as a DT member with Sister Act - Challenge #81.  There are a lot of wonderful cards made by the entire design team and I hope you will check them out as well as join in the challenge.

Our proud sponsor for this challenge is:

I am a big fan of quick and simple cards and this one was really fun to make   I stamped a greeting on the inside however didn't take a photo of it to share (but I can if anyone would like to take a peek. And I never miss an opportunity to create something with pink and butterflies.

I sure hope you will check the blogs for each of the Sister Act Design Teams and say hello and check out their cards. The link to the Sister Act Challenge Blog is highlighted above.  Enjoy!!!!

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
