As you may have noticed already I have two posts today. The first one is for "Breast Cancer Awareness" and the second is our weekly Tuesday Alchemy Challenge.
I am also super excited because I have won my first blog candy from Anything But A Card and I placed in the Top 3 with Challenges 4 Everybody.
It was definitely a great way to start the week.
We have two great sponsors this week. They are

For this weeks challenge I decided to use this scalloped box/frame (cardboard I think) I got at a craft store in Oregon. The cashier was going to throw it away and I gasped. You know me - I hate to see anything thrown away. I asked if I could keep it and she said she couldn't give it to me but I could buy it for 25 cents. I said "sold" and hadn't had a chance to use it until now. It is 2.75" x 4".
I painted it brown, added stickles all around the edges for some sparkle and shine. Added the blue ribbon and paper pieced the bird, flowers and tree stump. I am hoping to maybe add some blue sky around the bird to kind of soften the look. Think that would work?? Have you ever had that feeling where you couldn't figure what else to do with something until you let it go and process it a little more? It was kind of strange not using my copics but I will play with this cute little bird later today and see what I can come up with. I am hoping to get another version added to this post later this week.
So dear ladies - join in with us this week. We are looking forward to seeing what you create. Our design team and guest team designers have some wonderful creations as inspiration for this challenge and you can find them here at Tuesday Alchemy
