Happy Tuesday Dear Friends,
This week at Tuesday Alchemy our challenge is "Anything Goes." This is where you can submit any kind of project you want to. And if you make anything but a card you will get an extra chance to win a prize with one of our amazing sponsors - The Greeting Farm and Live a Beadiful Life. Please read the "requirements" on our Tuesday Alchemy Blog to make sure your entry counts. We want everyone to be included and to have fun. I can't wait to see what you create and share with us.
Our Spotlight Artist this week is Palmetto Peaches where two sisters Debbie and Ashley have combined their love of eco-friendly crafting to create their own Etsy Shop. We have included their story on our Tuesday Alchemy blog and hope you will visit their shop.
This week I made an altered magnetic board and turned vintage looking buttons into magnets. I absolutely love taking something old and making it into something new. You know the old saying - "One woman's trash is another's woman's treasure." I like to use all styles, shapes and sizes of frames to make these magnet boards. These are actually one of my favorite altered items to make and they make great gifts too!!!
Over the weekend I found a wonderful blog called The Outlawz where they have all kinds of challenges. I decided to enter my Altered Frame Magnetic Board in their Paper A'La Mode Challenge. I hope you will check out their blog and join the group. There web address is: http://outlawzchallenges.ning.com/
I am also submitting this project to another amazing blog I found recently called Stampin' Sisters in Christ:
With smiles and hugs

Wonderful! I feel like I'm mostly stuck in card making zone, but you're always able to come up with pretty things that are anything but that. I hope I can work toward branching out more one day!
ReplyDeleteLaine, I am so glad you joined The Outlawz. Thanks for the plug. Thanks for following me at Tickell Expressions too. I hope you will pop by tomorrow, for I am launching a new challenge blog.
ReplyDeleteYour altered magnetic board is just gorgeous. I'd love to see a tutorial on how you did it. Your clipboard is beautiful, too.
I am your newest follower. :)
