Small World

Wow - getting ready for this week's challenge, tutorial and blog hop has been quite the adventure.  It has been a lot of fun and I am not a big fan of the learning curve but I am loving it all.  I wish I could create with my feet too instead of just my hands!!  Creates quite the visual image doesn't it??

For today's post I wanted to create something for another challenge (plus I needed to make a quick gift for a sweet little girl.  I stumbled across another blog called Stampin' Sisters in Christ and it was a wonderful blog to visit (and join).  So many beautiful creations and devotionals and its been an answer to a prayer.  This weeks challenge  #143 at SSIC is to create something that shows movement.  And so I altered this wall hook with this sweet little girl on the swing reaching out to the little bird.  Makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too. Ironically the image I used is from one of my favorite online digital stamp stores  - The Paper Shelter and they are also the sponsor for this  challenge.  There are so many adorable digital stamps and digital papers - please consider checking them out.  I did not color this particular image - it was already pre-colored when I purchased it (several of their digital images come that way).  I needed a quick gift for a little girl and this came in handy.  I am looking forward to coloring her myself  this weekend. The website is -

Small world isn't it??

I hope you will continue participating in our Tuesday Alchemy Blog and tell all your friends to join us and check out the Stampin' Sisters in Christ blog as well.  Have a blessed day!

Cinderella goes Camo

Hello my dear sweet friends -

I hope this finds you doing well.  It's been a while since I have been able to post and yet I have been able to get quite a few loose ends tied up.  I ended up making a quick trip to California to get the rest of personal stuff out of storage.  I am no longer scattered across three states and I can't even begin to express how wonderful that feels.  It will take me some time to get all my craft stuff set up and organized again but it looks like I will be able to really get on the ground running again.  It was a group effort and my sisters and brother in law were amazing and so incredibly helpful.

A few days before the trip I received a phone call (out of the blue) from a dear friend I worked with at the Police Department in California 20 years ago.  It was great hearing from him and we have been having fun getting caught up on things. My my, so many new and exciting changes.  I am still working on getting my health back on track and doctors say I a…

Happy Tuesday Sweet Friends
I hope you are having a fabulous day!!  And I am really hopeful it's not overly hot where you are.  It's suppose to be 114 degrees here today and I am NOT looking forward to that.   What I am looking forward to is sharing my newest creation using this absolutely amazing image by Sherri Baldy.  She was so much fun to color and the background was really fun to create as well.  I just love her - she looks like she's just chillin' and enjoying her surroundings.  It's kind of magical and I would love to be there with her.

I used Copics to color her and the colors I used are:
B00, 02, 04, 05, 12, 14 (Background and her Eyes) E000, 00 11, 31, 33, 35   (Skin and Sand). RV02, 04, 21, 23 (Water Background) V01, 05, 06, 09  (Mermaid tail, top, flowers, background and seaweed) YG21, 23, 25   (Water Background) YR21, 23, 25 (Hair)
I hope she brings you a smile.  Here's the link to her in Sherri's Etsy Shop: Sherri Baldy on Etsy - Image 661 Here's the lin…
