Challenge 12 - "May Day" Challenge at Tuesday Alchemy

Today is such a gorgeous day in California.  The sun is shining and there is a slight cool breeze which is refreshing and relaxing.  Makes me wish I could create outside all day today.  Hope your day is full of sunshine and happiness too.

This weeks challenge at Tuesday Alchemy is "May Day".  I have decided to submit my magnetic board especially since I enjoy making them.  I thought I would share two photos one with the magnets and the other without.   If you haven't done so already, check out the Tuesday Alchemy Blog and submit your own creation to the contest.

  5. Hi Laine first may I say how wonderful it is that you have become one of my followers, I have also joined your blog so I can come back and see your wonderful work. I have been having a look at your beautiful creations they really look amazing so inspirational and full of creativity. One thing that brought me more joy than you will ever know is the video of Hercules, I love all animals but dogs in particular, in fact my very first dog was a Pomeranian, she was my Princess and I loved her with all my heart. I now have a Jack Russell Terrier who will be 17 yrs on June 10th. I have enjoyed my visit I will be back again.

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
