Guest Design Team Spot at Fitztown

Happy Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends -

It's cold, wet and gloomy here - I guess that means its beginning to look a lot like winter.  I don't mind the cooler weather except it makes my fibromyalgia pain worse. The wonderful part is Mark and I got a gift card from a very special friend for our wedding a month ago and we bought a gorgeous charcoal gray soft and fluffy blanket today with the gift card.  It's so FLUFFY!!!!!  I also love it because it keeps me warm without heaviness.  Thanks Diane!!!

Today I am sharing a card I made for the Fitztown Challenge as a Guest Team Designer.  Yay - so excited and I love their images.  The image I chose is called Fae35 and I think she is an awesome image to play around with.  I especially like to practice my Copic coloring and look forward to the day when I get better at it.  My secret desire is to take the online coloring classes through Kit and Clowder.  Anyway - she's really fun to color and I am looking forward to using her again.

For this challenge I used her for the Love/Anniversary theme and added the "Thinking of You" as the sentiment.  The Design Team at Fitztown have some great creations to share for the challenge this week.  I hope you will check them out and join in the fun.  I have included the link underneath the greeting card.

Thanks so much for stopping by - it always means so much to me!!

With smiles
Laine

I am also entering this card in the following challenges:

  1. I have Fibromyalgia too Laine amongst other ailments so can empathise with you, am hoping the fluffy reference is to Agnes from Despicable me lol. Hope you keep warm, my Fibro pain comes with extremes of weather either too hot or too cold, can't win so i craft to distract...

Love your card and colouring, both are gorgeous:-) xxx

    1. Hi Mo- I was wondering about that when I read your new DT member introduction The Speed Craft Challenge. Yes, It's horrible. I was in CA for a while and the heat kicked me to the curb too. Like you said, can't win. Crafting does help - which is such a blessing. I also have a series of ailments which are all a disability for me. I have a feeling there are way to many in blogland who have the same issues as we do. And yes, I was referring to Agnes from Despicable Me. Love that movie. Thanks for the sweet comment and kind words.

      Take care of you!!

  11. Hello Laine - sorry I haven't been to visit earlier, I've got a lousy cold and cough and feel like death warmed up so haven't really been very sociable or crafty. Your card is gorgeous and I don't think you need lessons in colouring, you're doing just fine. Hazel, Fitztown CT. x

Blessings and Thankfulness

Hello dear sweet friends - As some of you already know I had a different post here earlier today.  I have moved that post to my Life Lessons from Hercules Blog which I have been wanting to start for quite some time now.  And so, if you feel so inclined - you can check out my new blog and let me know what you think. (For this card I wanted to use my scraps of paper and other embellishments that are over six months old.  And I achieved that by using the brown lace and butterflies.  In fact, they are almost a year old and I have just been saving them for something special.   With hugs and smiles Laine I am also submitting this card to the following challenges: Twist of Faith Challenge #10 - A Sketch Challenge Craft Door Magazine - Challenge #43 Anything Goes Paper Take Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes Lady Anne's Challenges - Anything Goes Stampin Sisters in Christ - Challenge 164 Challenges for Everybody - #6 Stampin for the Weekend
