Lots of Exciting News

Hello my dear sweet friends -

Boy oh boy has life been full of lots of changes.  So many new things going on - and I can't wait to share some news with you.  I am not even sure where to start so I think I will just share things throughout this next week.

First of all I am on a new design team CS Designs and I am incredibly excited about it.  I will have more information available before the end of this month regarding the blog hop and other great stuff so I hope you will check back soon.

I just discovered as I was looking at my google account that this is my 100th blog post and that's so exciting to me.  I think I need to have a blog candy giveaway and hope you will check back on Friday for more details and join in the fun.

And I have also started a new blog (nope I am serious) and it's called "Breaking Up with Fibromyalgia".

This blog is really a deep personal one for me because I have been battling this monster for quite a while now and I am hoping to reach out to others who are hurting and battling the same silent illness.  If you feel so inclined to check out my new blog I would really appreciate it and you can find it here:

Breaking Up With Fibromyalgia

Thanks so much for spending some time with me and I hope you will come back.

With hugs and smiles always

Laine

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
