I found some old ceramic coasters at a thrift store a long time ago. Thought this would be a great project for this weeks challenge and the perfect time to turn them into something new.
All I did was cover the coasters in various cardstocks, stamped swirly images around the edges and fun sayings in the middle of each. They were all sealed for extra protection.
It's a quick and easy project plus a dear friend of mine loves them and wants them for her office at work. Makes me happy they have found a new happy home. So please jump in and join us this week and can't wait to see what you create.
Have a blessed week!

These are fantastic, Laine! What a great idea. Love the way you did the swirl stamps around the edges. Makes a fab border.

ReplyDeleteI think your coasters are beautiful, Laine. Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog and I have now joined your lovely blog too. I am thankful to say I really don't need any more crafty stash right now but am happy to display your candy on my blog. Vee xx
ReplyDeleteHi lainey, I've just spent about twenty minutes looking through all your posts and past posts about your life. The reason it touched me so much is firstly - you are a strong person and never gives up, no matter how far down deep we go into this black hole there's always away out towards the light. Also your life story mirrors my life so much . I've been of work since last December due to unbearable pain in my leg and they've only just figured out what it might be so now I'm awaiting an MRI scan , I've lost my friends, social life and my financial status is in tatters. It's been hell but finding blog land and doing crafting has been a godsend to me and I'm sure many others out there! It's a great therapy and there is also some lovely people out there. You've been an inspiration to me and your work is stunning. You are very talented and believe me sweetheart there is always only one way up , never down back into that dark hole. I'm glad everything is starting to get better for you. My thoughts are with you and I'm here if you ever just need a chat. Lovely coasters by the way , I love how you've altered them. They look fab! Much love . Sharon xxxxx
