Coffee Bath

Happy Wednesday Sweet Friends

It's cold and dreary outside and yet warm and inviting inside.  I am so looking forward to Spring and fortunately it's just around the corner.  The rain has been almost non-stop but I love the sounds it makes while I am crafting in my room.  I hope things are warm and cozy in your part of the world too.

Today I am sharing a card I made for a special friend.  It was love at first with this cutie.  Her name is "Coffee Bath" and she was created by Artist Lisa Bloobel.

I colored her with Copics.  I used a brick stencil to create the background.  I also used some lace to create the look for curtains for a more relaxing type of atmosphere.  She may be relaxing in a cup of coffee but it sure looks nice and warm to me.

I used the following Copic colors:

Skin:  E000, 00, 11, R20
Eyes:  B32, 34, 38
Hair:  E31, 33, 35
Coffee Cup:  B32, 34, 37, E11
Brick Background:  G41, 43, R83
I also used a white gel pen.

This fabulous image is part of new program Lisa has started over on her Facebook Group.  Here's the link:

If you are curious about this image you will find more details on Lisa's Facebook Group page.  Lisa has come up with a great monthly subscriber's program and this is one of the new images.  The program is only $5.00 a month and it's got some amazing perks.  This monthly subscribers group is called:

TROO-BLOOers

You can find out more on Lisa's Facebook page if you are interested.

So sweet friends this is all for today.  I hope you have a great day!!

With smiles and hugs,

Laine

Pretty in Pink

Happy Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends I've got my Fitztown DT hat on today and I am sharing an altered small composition I made using one of the gorgeous rose images from Fitztown . Here's how I make my altered composition books whether they are the large or small ones. I used a small file and lightly sanded the front & back of the book until all the shine is gone.  I added the cardstock to the front and back using glue. I used my bone folder to make sure the cardstock was adhered well. I used Copics to color the roses. Fussy cut out the roses and attached to the front of the composition book with glue. Used my bone folder to make sure the image was adhered well. Added a strand of faux pearls to the left side. This really is a quick and easy project.  I actually like to make several ahead of time to either give as RAK's or gifts to family, friends or co-workers. Thanks for stopping by and I always appreciate your feedback and comments....
