Warm in Winter



Happy Happy Happy Friday My Dear Sweet Friends
It is so cold here - we actually have had a little snow (just flakes) today but its just to cold for me.  And winter hasn't even begun yet.  How are you this Friday??

Today I am sharing the card I made for the Sister Act Card Challenge.  It's fun being a part of this Design Team because it actually helps me take the time to make a few greeting cards.  I probably should start making my Christmas cards but haven't had been able to yet.

 For this card I used an image from "A Day for Daisies" called Warm in Winter - and I think this little bird is just to cute.  I paper pieced the bird and colored with my Copics.  I just had to add some snow - so used some dimensional puff and used my heating gun to puff it up.  I am happy to see he is a happy little bird with a full belly eating all those berries.

    Again a wonderful piece of art. I love the little bird and the way you made it the main interest of your creation. Such beautiful colors that match with the green of the bird and the tan on the background. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.

    Beautiful bird, loving the dimension and colours. You could colour your bird like a robin then it would be a perfect Xmas card! :-) xxx

Blessings and Thankfulness

Hello dear sweet friends - As some of you already know I had a different post here earlier today.  I have moved that post to my Life Lessons from Hercules Blog which I have been wanting to start for quite some time now.  And so, if you feel so inclined - you can check out my new blog and let me know what you think.
