Challenge 40 - Christmas (Shaped Cards)

Hello my sweet friends -

 Hope you are doing well and had a wonderful weekend.  Are you ready for Christmas??

 Wow - last week was a tough one.  My sister is finally getting around a little better and I am working on getting back into the swing of things.

This weeks challenge with Tammy's Scrappin Corner is all about Christmas and shaped cards.  Sounds pretty simple doesn't it??  We have two great sponsors:


The design team has put together some fantastic creations this week and you will find all their links on the right side of my side bar.  You will be amazed at what they have created this week and we hope you are inspired as well as eager and ready to join in this weeks challenge as well.

 I used a design from QKR Stampede called "Elf riding on a Christmas Tree Bulb" and I think he is adorable.


I wish I had been able to take a better picture - sometimes it looks like the background is gold instead of a green.  I added rhinestones all around the scalloped circle.  I colored him with Copics and added lots of bling.  He looks like he is having a great time to me.

New Project as a new DT member and a Blog Hop Challenge

Fight Like A Girl - Pink Power

  My blog candy giveaway is under post Challenge #35  Hello dear sweet friends -  I am taking a little detour today from my usual type of post to share something that is near and dear to my heart.  As you are already aware October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  Well I want to do something to help spread the word about the importance of mammograms.  Believe it or not there are still a lot of women (and men) that we can reach together.   I am a breast cancer survivor and today September 18th  is my six year anniversary.   Six years ago I was driving to work listening to my favorite Christian radio station when there was an advertisement for the "Susan G.
