"Bee Happy" and its Almost Friday.......

Happy happy Thursday!  I am finally feeling better - got knocked down by something and it wasn't fun spending so much time in bed.  I was wanting to create but all I could do was "nothing".  I must confess though I do feel a little more rested.

Even though I wasn't able (due to illness) to participate in this weeks Tuesday Alchemy challenge I still wanted to use one of the images from Birdie Brown one of our sponsors this week.  I just love her images and couldn't wait to play with this adorable bee.  Here is the link to her Etsy shop:  Birdie Brown

I hope you will check out her shop and take a look at all her cute and whimsical digital images.

I made this card yesterday.  I promised myself I would use one of my Nestabilities and it was so much fun.  I haven't used any of them in such a long time.

Its hard to tell from this background but I used black cardstock for the base of the card and added the yellow and green.  As you can see I tore some brown cardstock to create the look of dirt, added the cute bee and a couple of flowers.  Of course - I always need to add some type of bling and I chose the wings so they would sparkle and shine.

There is still time for you to participate in this weeks challenge.  The theme for this week is "Bee Guitar Home".  You can use one, two or all three of those to make your creations for this week.  There are some great prizes and who knows - you could be the next winner.  Here is the link:

I am also entering my "sweet little bee" into the following challenges:

Challenges 4 Everybody - Anything Goes

The Crazy Challenge - Anything Goes

Totally Stampalicious - Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by!!

With hugs and smiles

Blessings and Thankfulness

Hello dear sweet friends - As some of you already know I had a different post here earlier today.  I have moved that post to my Life Lessons from Hercules Blog which I have been wanting to start for quite some time now.  And so, if you feel so inclined - you can check out my new blog and let me know what you think. (For this card I wanted to use my scraps of paper and other embellishments that are over six months old.  And I achieved that by using the brown lace and butterflies.  In fact, they are almost a year old and I have just been saving them for something special.   With hugs and smiles Laine I am also submitting this card to the following challenges: Twist of Faith Challenge #10 - A Sketch Challenge Craft Door Magazine - Challenge #43 Anything Goes Paper Take Weekly Challenge - Anything Goes Lady Anne's Challenges - Anything Goes Stampin Sisters in Christ - Challenge 164 Challenges for Everybody - #6 Sta...
