Happy Happy Friday My Dear Sweet Friends It's Friday and I couldn't be happier.  It's been a really busy week and I am TIRED!!  LOL Today I am sharing a project I made using this adorable image by Sherri Baldy.   Fluffy Image 067 There is quite a story behind this project and it still cracks me up.  I absolutely love this image and wanted to create something fun with her.  I came across the rub-on sentiment "Be Unique" in my old stash and it was perfect.  So because of this sentiment I decided to color all the bubbles purprle.  I thought it would be fun and "unique,"  As I started putting the lace around the outside edges it hit me like a baseball bat across my forehead - "Oh my goodness, it looks like she's sitting in a tub full of grapes."  Panic set in.  I showed my sister and she said, "Sis, I can't lie, yes they look like grapes."  Yep, so it's up to you sweet friends - you can decide for yourself...

Good Morning Sweet Friends Today I am sharing a DT card I created using an absolutely adorable image by artist Sandra Caldwell.  This image is called "Garden Hippo #783 and is available in Sandra's Etsy Shop.  I absolutely love hippoes and this one just makes me smile.  And this is just one of many adorable images created by Artist Sandra Caldwell.   To create the background I used the new Distress Crayon's by Tim Holz. I love those crayons - they are so much fun to work with. I used Copics to color this adorable hippo. And since I love hippoes - this one just makes me smile every time I look at it. Happy Thursday My Sweet Friends It's Thrifty Thursday at Scrapper's Delight.  This mean there are some specially selected images that are available for $1.00 each.   I am also sharing my DT card using an image from Scrapper's Delight called "Santa's Little Helper."  She was fun to color and I loved making the brick wall behind her.  This time I used Copics to color the brick background.  I have finally started using my stencils more and want my stencil collection to keep growing.  LOL!!  I also did a lot of paper-piecing on this project.  I paper-pieced her boots, all the presents and her hat.  I also added more dimension using Copics on those too. Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends It's really cold here today - I hope the weather is better on your end. Today I am sharing a card I made using this adorable image from artist Annabel owner of Knitty Kitty on Etsy.  It was love at first sight and i couldn't wait to color it.  And as you can see - I tried something different with my coloring and I just love it.   I just have to find my list of the colors I used and will be back with that information as soon as I can. Happy Thursday My Dear Sweet Friends It's Thrifty Thursday's at Scrapper's Delight which means there are some fabulous images for a $1.00.  I am using one of those adorable images called "Princess 1" and she was such a delight to work with.  I used Copic's to color her, finally used my eyelet ruffled punch (which was so much fun).  Truth be told I have had that punch well over seven years and decided it was time to start using it.  I have a couple more similar ones and I am addicted to them now.  I also added the flowers and hearts to complete the card.   The Copic Colors I used are: E000, 00, 11, 21, 23, 25,27 R20, 81 V12, 15, 17 Y15 Here's the link to the  Scrapper's Delight Store  where you will find the newest Thrifty Thursday $1.00 images and other beautiful images as well. Morning Sweet Friends Today I am sharing a DT project with one of the new images from the fabulous Sandra Caldwell called "Basket Case Kitty."  I just love this poor kitty who looks like he has reached the end of his rope.  He melts my heart.  It was also a joy to color him. I colored him with the following Copic Colors: B21, 32, 34 E23, 25, 27 G21, 24, 40 N3, 5, 7 R83 Y21, 23, 26 I also created the floor using a metal die cut and really happy with how it turned out.  It's fun trying new things in different ways. Happy Happy Thursday Sweet Friends I hope you have been having a fabulous week so far and the weekend is just around the corner.   Today I am sharing my newest Design Team Project with Scrapper's Delight.  I am so thrilled to share my Thrifty Thursday project with you.  I am using an image called "Anna Mae Party Bunny Girl and she was such a delight to color.  I also chose to use the image without the wings this time.  She is also part of the Thrifty Thursday $1.00 images.  There are some adorable images sweet ladies and I hope you will check them out and you can't beat the price.  How wonderful is that??? Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends Today I am sharing my DT project from artist Sandra Caldwell called # 888 Silly Condos.  I absolutely love this image and wanted to do something different with this DT project. The first time I worked with the image I just colored it with Copics.  I wasn't happy with it and it didn't have the look I was wanting.  And then it occurred to me - "What about paper piecing?" along with coloring.  And that's what I did and I love the look.  It makes me smile every time I look at it and I hope it does the same for you. As you can see I did a lot of printing on different card stocks and had a blast taking all the different pieces of the condo puzzle and putting it all together.  I wanted what I created to live up to this images name "silly condo's: and I am happy with it.  I also used a few of my Copics to add some shading.
