Happy Thursday My Sweet Friends It's Thrifty Thursday at Scrapper's Delight.  This mean there are some specially selected images that are available for $1.00 each.   I am also sharing my DT card using an image from Scrapper's Delight called "Santa's Little Helper."  She was fun to color and I loved making the brick wall behind her.  This time I used Copics to color the brick background.  I have finally started using my stencils more and want my stencil collection to keep growing.  LOL!!  I also did a lot of paper-piecing on this project.  I paper-pieced her boots, all the presents and her hat.  I also added more dimension using Copics on those too. Happy Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends Today I am sharing my Mixed Media project called "Under the Sea."  It's actually the name of our challenge this month at Mixed Media World.  Here's the link the challenge #16: Mixed Media World I created this project using a 9" x 12" canvas and a whole lot of this and that including plastic flowers and sea shells.  The goal was to create a small under the sea cavern full of calm and quiet along with an array of beautiful colors.  We hope you will join in our challenge this month and yes, the theme is "Under the Sea."  We can't wait to see your beautiful creations.  And you must check out the rest of the Design Teams projects - they are amazing!! Happy Saturday My Dear Sweet Friends It's really cold here today - I hope the weather is better on your end. Today I am sharing a card I made using this adorable image from artist Annabel owner of Knitty Kitty on Etsy.  It was love at first sight and i couldn't wait to color it.  And as you can see - I tried something different with my coloring and I just love it.   I just have to find my list of the colors I used and will be back with that information as soon as I can. Happy Thursday My Dear Sweet Friends It's Thrifty Thursday's at Scrapper's Delight which means there are some fabulous images for a $1.00.  I am using one of those adorable images called "Princess 1" and she was such a delight to work with.  I used Copic's to color her, finally used my eyelet ruffled punch (which was so much fun).  Truth be told I have had that punch well over seven years and decided it was time to start using it.  I have a couple more similar ones and I am addicted to them now.  I also added the flowers and hearts to complete the card.   The Copic Colors I used are: E000, 00, 11, 21, 23, 25,27 R20, 81 V12, 15, 17 Y15 Here's the link to the  Scrapper's Delight Store  where you will find the newest Thrifty Thursday $1.00 images and other beautiful images as well. Morning Sweet Friends Today I am sharing a DT project with one of the new images from the fabulous Sandra Caldwell called "Basket Case Kitty."  I just love this poor kitty who looks like he has reached the end of his rope.  He melts my heart.  It was also a joy to color him. I colored him with the following Copic Colors: B21, 32, 34 E23, 25, 27 G21, 24, 40 N3, 5, 7 R83 Y21, 23, 26 I also created the floor using a metal die cut and really happy with how it turned out.  It's fun trying new things in different ways. Happy Happy Thursday Sweet Friends I hope you have been having a fabulous week so far and the weekend is just around the corner.   Today I am sharing my newest Design Team Project with Scrapper's Delight.  I am so thrilled to share my Thrifty Thursday project with you.  I am using an image called "Anna Mae Party Bunny Girl and she was such a delight to color.  I also chose to use the image without the wings this time.  She is also part of the Thrifty Thursday $1.00 images.  There are some adorable images sweet ladies and I hope you will check them out and you can't beat the price.  How wonderful is that??? Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends Today I am sharing my DT project from artist Sandra Caldwell called # 888 Silly Condos.  I absolutely love this image and wanted to do something different with this DT project. The first time I worked with the image I just colored it with Copics.  I wasn't happy with it and it didn't have the look I was wanting.  And then it occurred to me - "What about paper piecing?" along with coloring.  And that's what I did and I love the look.  It makes me smile every time I look at it and I hope it does the same for you. As you can see I did a lot of printing on different card stocks and had a blast taking all the different pieces of the condo puzzle and putting it all together.  I wanted what I created to live up to this images name "silly condo's: and I am happy with it.  I also used a few of my Copics to add some shading. Happy Happy Sunday My Dear Sweet Friends Today I am sharing my DT project with Morgan's Art World  I just love this her and it's the image of the month at Morgan's Art World on Facebook.  She is free for members for the next three days.  This is a closed Facebook group but you can still join after you sign up and are added to the group. Happy Monday My Dear Sweet Friends I hope you had a fabulous weekend.  Mine was pretty quiet but was able to do some crafting.  Today I am sharing an image called "Gentleman Hippo" and I just fell in love with him.  I guess it's because I love hippo's and he's just perfect to me.  The Artist is Sandra Caldwell and I just adore her images.   I colored him with Copics and decided to make his Tuxedo gray with a splash of pink.  I choose a cardstock with the light gray background but with a look of texture and hopefully elegance.   He was definitely fun to color and I hope he makes you smile.
